Softlogic Restaurants (Pvt) Ltd., a fully-owned subsidiary of Softlogic Holdings PLC, is a frontrunner in Sri Lanka’s restaurant industry operating master franchises for leading global restaurant brands such as BURGER KING®, Crystal Jade, Délifrance and Baskin-Robbins. The Company also operates its own restaurant brand– Wan Gedi Ya – an Asian fusion restaurant, at the Odel Promenade Alexandra Place. BURGER KING® 

Softlogic’s venture into the Quick Service Restaurant   business began with the opening of three BURGER KING® restaurants simultaneously on the same day in December 2013. BURGER KING ® is the world’s second largest hamburger chain tracking records of serving over 11 million guests per day across 91 nations. Most of BURGER KING’s® restaurants are owned and operated by independent franchisees with strong business presence in-country. Softlogic was its ultimate choice for the franchise in Sri Lanka. Our BURGER KING® restaurants feature BURGER KING®’s signature Flame-Grilled Whopper and other specialty Burgers customized to cater the Asian palette. 

Burger King Sri Lanka has since expanded its footprint to 22 other locations including Colpetty, Mount Lavinia, Rajagiriya, Arcade Independence Square, Kandy City Centre, Asiri Central- Food Court, Liberty Plaza, Negombo, Fort, Wattala , Panadura, Nugegoda, Kiribathgoda, Ja Ela, Malabe, Peradeniya, K Zone- Moratuwa, Kotahena, Maharagama, Kurunegala, Shangri-La’s One Galle Face Mall and Colombo Airport.  Burger King Sri Lanka is acclaimed to be the fastest growing QSR chain in the country.

Crystal Jade 

Softlogic acquired the master franchise to operate Crystal Jade in Sri Lanka opening its first restaurant in One Galle Face Mall by Shangri La in November 2019. As one of Asia's most celebrated and diversified restaurant chain with over 100 outlets in 10 countries, Crystal Jade is a Michelin Star rated, award-winning brand that has preserved the rich traditions of Chinese cuisine, consistently delivering delicious food and impeccable, efficient service. The thoughtfully curated menu assures a contemporary gastronomic experience to the diners of Asian palette.

Délifrance

In 2018, Softlogic Restaurants (Pvt) Ltd., acquired the franchise for Délifrance, one of the world’s leading French bakery-café-restaurant chains operating over 340 outlets in 11 countries. 

Serving up freshly baked delicacies and gourmet meals, with roots deeply infused in French heritage, Délifrance is best known for its French Butter Croissants and Baguette at its café in Odel Alexandra Place. Softlogic opened another Délifrance outlet in One Galle Face Mall by Shangri La.

Baskin-Robbins

In 2017, Softlogic Restaurants (Pvt) Ltd., acquired the franchise for Baskin-Robbins, the world’s largest chain of specialty ice cream operating over 5,000 parlours in 50 countries with a wide array of ice cream flavors, milkshakes, waffles and other delicious treats. Softlogic operates nine Baskin-Robbins ice cream parlours in Colombo and Kandy. 

Wan Gedi Ya

Softlogic unveiled its first own restaurant brand, Wan Ge Di Ya. The brand name is inspired by the traditional stone mortar and pestle common to many Asian cuisines. The restaurant, which occupies the largest single space in Odel Alexandra Place, offers an eclectic range of signature "street food" dishes from eight Asian countries.
